Tequila Fortaleza Blanco – Still Strength
1st to taste and 1st chosen. Taken by Randy
Aromas of fruit, baked fully ripened agave, green olive and earth are invitingly present. Slightly brighter and a touch more rustic than the regular blanco, the accents of butter, olive, earth, black pepper and vegetal qualities in the flavor enhanced because it comes straight from the small copper pot stills, without adding water prior to bottling.

In 1942, Don Julio González decided to establish his roots in Atotonilco El Alto, Mexico where he acquired his Distillery “La Primavera”. Tequila Don Julio Primavera honors our late founder’s legacy as he believed reposado tequila was tequila at its finest. This deliciously smooth expression takes Tequila Don Julio’s traditional Reposado and finishes it in a highly coveted European cask, which previously held wine infused with macerated orange peel, for a silky, sophisticated, light citrus taste.

The emblem of the house is born of the annual tradition of our Maestros Tequileros of selecting, among hundreds of casks only those that have developed the most subtle and elegant notes to celebrate the end of each season. With time, the exquisite mix of these extra-añejos of up to 85 months of aging would become our Founder’s Selection as we know it today.
